The Port of Vancouver required assessment of the potential of a terminal site for breakbulk and general cargo handling.  A design concept and an assessment of operational capacity was prepared.  The proposed terminal was intended to handle breakbulk pulp and lumber, and general cargo.

Lauga & Associates prepared: site layout concept drawings, and a throughput capacity estimate.  Descriptions of layout options for warehousing, open storage, truck receiving, rail receiving and berth configurations and operations were provided.  Operational and storage capacities were estimated.
