Project - Analysis of Lynnterm Warehouse Options

The client expected a substantial increase  in his break bulk cargoes and was faced with a capacity problem.  Lauga & Associates worked closely with the client's staff to develop a layout plan, cost the plan and assess capacity issues.  The work included:

bulletPreparing layouts of options for new warehouse space;
bulletA new intra-terminal circulation plan; 
bulletA computer simulation of ship berthing operations to prove the ability to avoid excessive ship waiting time;
bulletA break bulk layout designed to not conflict with future plans for container handling at the site.
