The client, the Canadian Coast Guard, maintains a national database of vessel movements, vessel water depth requirements and of marine facilities, shippers and carriers.  Lauga & Associates carried out several assignments in British Columbia for this project.  Channel inventories were carried out at:

A specialized methodology was used to determine which of the many vessel movements were critical at each part of the channel.  Vessel route maps, commercial facilities maps and channel depth utilization profiles were prepared.
